I bought the Deluxe Edition of this Chief Inspector Gamache novel for my mom's birthday. She absolutely loved the intricate plot and character development. The hardcover feels luxurious, making it a perfect gift for any book lover!

Mixed feelings about the purchase
While I love the story in 'Still Life', the deluxe edition came with a small dent on the corner. It's a bit disappointing, but the content is what matters most. I might try ordering another copy later.

Great addition to my collection
As a big fan of Louise Penny, I really enjoyed this deluxe edition. The cover design is stunning, and the pages have a nice feel to them. I wish there were a few more illustrations, though. Still, it's worth having on my shelf!

Delivery issues and poor condition
Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. The book arrived damaged with a torn cover. I expected better, especially for a deluxe edition. Very frustrating! I hope the next order goes smoother.
