Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with 'Stolen Lives'. I thought it would focus more on personal stories rather than the broader issues in the jail system. It felt more like a history lesson at times, which wasn't what I was looking for. Still, some parts were enlightening.

Interesting Perspective but Slow
I liked 'Stolen Lives' for its unique perspective, but I found some parts dragged a bit. The detail is great, but some sections could have been tighter. If you're patient, it offers a lot to think about. Just wish it moved along faster at times.

A Deeply Moving Read
This book, 'Stolen Lives', is incredibly powerful. The author's experiences over twenty years in a desert jail are eye-opening and heartbreaking. I couldn't put it down; it gives such a vivid glimpse into a world many of us know little about. Highly engaging!

Interesting but Tough to Digest
I found 'Stolen Lives' to be a tough read at times. The content is super heavy, but I appreciate the honesty and detail throughout the narrative. It's definitely informative, but it took me longer to read than I expected. Just a heads up for anyone interested!

A Must-Read For Social Justice Advocates
If you care about social justice, 'Stolen Lives' is a must-read! The insight into life in a desert jail over two decades is intense. The author's courage shines through the pages. I finished it feeling a mix of anger and hope—definitely worth your time!
