Die strategische Personalentwicklung ermglicht es, dieses Wissen und damit die Wettbewerbsfhigkeit eines Unternehmens langfristig sicherzustellen. Aus diesem Grund rckt sie verstrkt in den Fokus der Unternehmen und wird zunehmend mit in die Unternehmensstrategie eingebunden. Damit einhergehend wandelt sich die Personalentwicklung von der operativen, untersttzenden Servicefunktion fr alle Unternehmensbereiche zu einer strategischen Personalentwicklung, die sich an der Unternehmensstrategie orientiert. Das bedeutet, dass alle Personalentwicklungsinstrumente an der Unternehmensstrategie ausgerichtet werden und die Personalentwicklung als gleichberechtigter Partner die anderen Organisationseinheiten im Unternehmen bei der Erreichung ihrer strategischen Vorgaben untersttzt. Durch diese strategisch ausgerichtete Untersttzung der anderen Organisationseinheiten leistet die strategische Personalentwicklung einen Beitrag zum Erfolg eines Unternehmens.
