Methodik: Bei einer Gruppe von 43 Erzieherinnen wurden Speichelproben zur Bestimmung der CortisolAufwachReaktion (CAR) untersucht. Auerdem wurden Haarproben gesammelt, da die Haare eine Art retrospektiven Kalender' fr die Cortisolproduktion darstellen. Die subjektiven Stresseinschtzungen wurden durch das Maslach Burnout Inventar (MBI), die Screeningskala zum chronischen Stress (SSCS), eine Kurzversion des MaastrichtVitalExhaustionQuestionnaire (MVEQ), die Depressionsskala der Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADSD), eine Kurzform des Fragebogens EffortReward Imbalance (ERIS), sowie durch die Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) erfasst. Neben der Gesamtstichprobe, in der verschiedene Krankheiten angegeben wurden, wurde separat auch eine daraus gewonnene gesunde Teilstichprobe (N = 30) untersucht. Ergebnisse: Die subjektive Stressbelastung ist bei den untersuchten Erzieherinnen gering bis mittelmig ausgeprgt. Zwischen den subjektiven Stresseinschtzungen und der HHNAAktivitt wurden in dieser Untersuchung einige signifikante Zusammenhnge gefunden. So wies die MBISkala 'Emotionale Erschpfung' einen signifikanten Zusammenhang zur CAR (p = .010; bei Teilstichprobe) und dem Haarcortisolspiegel (p = .025 bzw. p = .035; bei Gesamt bzw. Teilstichprobe) auf, sowie auch der ERIFragebogen in signifikantem Zusammenhang zur CAR stand (p = .021; Teilstichprobe).
