I was excited to read this installment, but I felt let down by the pacing and development. The premise of the one thousand white women is intriguing, but I didn't connect with the characters as much as I hoped. Maybe it's just me!

A bit slow at times
While I appreciate the storytelling in this book, I found some parts quite slow. The concept is interesting, but certain chapters dragged on. Still, the unique perspective of the characters kept me going, and I'm glad I finished it!

This book really captures the essence of those historic journeys. May and Molly’s stories are beautifully woven together. The emotional depth and the challenges they face in such a brutal time are portrayed well. Definitely one of the better reads in the series!

I really enjoyed 'The Lost Journals of May Dodd and Molly McGill.' The writing style pulls you in, and the historical context is fascinating. I loved how the book dives into the lives of these women and the challenges they faced. Can't wait for the next in the series!
