Zur Organisation der strategischen Planung gibt es dagegen nur sehr wenige Arbeiten, zu ihrem Ablauf praktisch nichts. Die vorliegende Arbeit zum ProzeS strategischer Planung eroffnet also Neuland. Dies verdient umso mehr hervorge hoben zu werden, als Theorien oder Konzepte der Ablaufor ganisation von der Organisationslehre in den vergangenen Jahren in kaum verstandlicher weise vernachlassigt worden sind. Diese Arbeit nahert sich ihrem Thema dadurch, daS zunachst das Ablaufproblem des strategischen Planungsprozesses her ausgearbeitet und in den mageren Stand der Diskussion ein gebettet wird. In einem zweiten Schritt werden formale An forderungen an strategische Planungsprozesse abgeleitet und mit lei tbildhaften ProzeSmodellen konfrontiert. Nach PrUfung verschiedener theoretischer Ansatze auf ihre Eig nung als Strukturierungshilfen mUndet die Arbeit schlieS lich in eine innovative mehrstufige Heuristik. Diese lei stet wirkungsvolle UnterstUtzung bei der Gestaltung des Ablaufs strategischer Planungsprozesse, was durch eine beispielhafte Anwendung deutlich gemacht wird. Die vorliegende Arbeit ist ein bemerkenswerter Beitrag zur Diskussion ablauforganisatorischer sowie logischer Pro bleme und Problemlosungen strategischer Planung.
