Product Description Poor Ole Stubtoe, one of Santas favorite elves, always finds a way to cause trouble and create even more work for the already overworked elves who assist Santa in his toy making. But, one momentous day, when it seems as though Santa will not be able to make his annual Christmas Eve trip and will disappoint all the children around the world, Poor Ole Stubtoe comes to the rescue. A fanciful tale, Stubtoe Saves Santa, provides whimsical insight into the lives of Santas elves, as well as the story of how they came to work for Santa, and the secret innerworkings of Santas home, Toy Towers, in the North Pole. Inspired by the authors grandfather, Stubtoe Saves Santa makes the story of Santa "for the world, and not for a religion" by providing background stories of Santas elves that include details about their different nationalities. About the Author A resident of Boca Raton, Florida, Sir James D. Casto is a shopping center developer and founder of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Educated at Ohio State University, he was appointed by President Clinton to the Presidents Advisory Committee of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. A United States Army veteran and a noted philanthropist, he is also an honorary associate of the Harry S. Truman Library Institute for National and International Affairs.
