The purpose of the Student Activities Manual (SAM) is to give you extra practice of what you learned in class outside of class. The SAM is both the workbook (comprehension and written practice of the vocabulary and grammar presented in class) and the lab manual (listening and pronunciation practice). In oddnumbered chapters, you will continue to develop your writing skills in French through a blogstyle writing activity in which you react to the film, LIAISONS. Evennumbered chapters contain an emailstyle writing activity related to the chapter's theme.
