This book is fantastic for teens! It brings forth real issues through the lens of dystopia. I bought it for my sister, and she couldn't put it down! Great addition to the Hunger Games universe!

Interesting but a bit slow at times
While I enjoyed the backstory of the Hunger Games, there were parts that felt a little dragged out. The political themes are relevant, though, and the ending had me hooked. It's worth a read if you're invested in the series!

I wanted to love this novel, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Some characters felt underdeveloped, and the pacing was off. It was nice to see the world of Panem again, but not my favorite in the series.

As a huge fan of the original trilogy, this book was a treat! Exploring the early days of the Hunger Games and seeing familiar elements was exciting. The writing is superb as always. Definitely a must-read!

I enjoyed some parts, but there were a few slow patches that almost made me lose interest. I think fans who love deep political plots will enjoy it more. It's not a bad book, just different from the originals.
