Surfactant aggregations attract researchers over the last few decades due to their immense technological application such as solubilizing agents, nanoreactors, membrane mimiking media, etc. Depending upon the molecular polarity, other physical characteristics of the solvent also affect the aggregation of surfactants. The aggregations of different photosensitive dyes also open a new arena for the joint venture of different scientists. From the traditional photobleaching to selfquenching, various characteristics of dyes are influenced by the self association. This book, therefore, provides a detail aspect of surfactant aggregation including cmc, thermodynamics etc. of dodecyl sulfate and AOT having different counterions as a function of temperature.
