The main aim of this thesis is to show the needs, importance and requirements of sustainable tourism development through the key players of the industry. Furthermore, this study discusses a fivestarquality that needs to be considered not only in the sectors of the tourism industyr, but also for the overall industrial activities as well as for its environmental and social components. With an indepth intervies analysis, conducted in Antalya, Turkey, the stakeholders are identified and the fundamental issues are discussed. Sustainable tourism development, in this study, is comprehensively studied with the Stakeholder Theory and the Collaborative Approach as toolds. Political, economic and social pressures on the stakeholders in developing countries are vital; however sharing a common target may create more responsibility and consequently result in the succesfull realization of the goals of all the interest groups. Thus, the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility is taken into account as a fundamental issue. Consequently, this thesis is concluded with some personal reflections on regional and national tourism development.
