This retelling is dark, intense, and truly engaging. The modern elements make the ancient myth feel fresh and exciting. I found myself invested in the characters' journeys right from the start. Just be prepared for some steamy scenes!

I enjoyed Sweet Obsession, but I felt some parts were a bit predictable. The blend of modern and mythological elements was cool, though! If you like stories with a twist on classic myths, it’s definitely worth a read.

Sweet Obsession had a great concept and started strong, but it felt like some plot points were glossed over. I wanted more depth in the characters' backgrounds, especially with such rich mythology to draw from. Still, I enjoyed the experience.

While I appreciate a good retelling, this one had a bit too much melodrama for me. The story of Poseidon and Icarus had potential but felt overdone at times. Still, the writing style is good, just not my favorite kind of story.
