I really liked the concept of 'The 100-Year Flood', but some parts dragged on longer than I expected. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is unique, but I felt it could have benefitted from tighter pacing. Still a good read overall!

Some good moments but uneven
I appreciated the themes in 'The 100-Year Flood', but there were parts that felt uneven. Some chapters were engaging while others felt repetitive. It had its moments, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. Just okay.

An emotional rollercoaster
What a ride! Sylvia Doe's portrayal of human endurance during the flood was so powerful. I felt every emotion the characters faced. A great book for book clubs or just a cozy night in. I couldn't put it down!

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for 'The 100-Year Flood', but unfortunately, it didn't resonate with me. Some descriptions were too lengthy, and I lost interest around halfway through. Maybe it just wasn't the right fit for me. Others might love it though!

A compelling read in tough times
Sylvia Doe's narrative in 'The 100-Year Flood' is both gripping and relatable. I found myself immersed in the characters' struggles, especially during natural disasters. It's a heartfelt story that's perfect for anyone who enjoys tales of resilience. I read it in one sitting!
