Neben einer Zusammenstellung aller bentigten Hilfsmittel und der Ausarbeitung der theoretischen Hintergrnde besteht ein groer Teil der Arbeit aus der Implementierung der theoretischen Fakten. Die Programme zur Symmetrisierung und zur Berechnung von Zerlegungsmatrizen wurden im Computeralgebrasystem GAP implementiert. Im ersten Kapitel werden alle fr die nachfolgenden Kapitel wichtigen Grundlagen aus der Algebra und der Darstellungstheorie erlutert. Neben Bezeichnungsweisen und Schreibweisen werden im Verlauf dieses Kapitels elementare Definitionen gegeben und Zusammenhnge ausgearbeitet. Das zweite Kapitel beinhaltet die Theorie der Symmetrisierung. Hierbei wird unterschieden, ob gewhnliche oder modulare Charaktere (BrauerCharaktere) symmetrisiert werden. Bei der Symmetrisierung von BrauerCharakteren wird zwischen der gewhnlichen und der verfeinerten Symmetrisierung differenziert. Bei der Berechnung der verfeinerten Symmetrisierung modularer Charaktere sind die Zerlegungsmatrizen von SchurAlgebren von groer Wichtigkeit. Das folgende dritte Kapitel befat sich zunchst mit den dazu in der Literatur existierenden Konventionen. Anschlieend wird ein mglicher Weg fr die Berechnung der Matrizen erklrt und an einem Beispiel verdeutlicht. Im vierten Kapitel werden die fr die Symmetrisierung implementierten Programme kurz vorgestellt. Hierbei spielen die Programme zur Berechnung der Zerlegungsmatrizen eine entscheidende Rolle.
