This revised and expanded compilation explores the unity of approach to dynamic system modeling using bondgraph methods as well as other more traditional methods. While the first six chapters are basically the same as those found in the earlier edition, with some minor corrections, the majority of the change involves the advanced materials found in chapters 713, since more educators, practicing engineers and scientists are now aware of bond graphs than were in the early 1970s. Included in the area of new and advanced topics are: multiport fields and junction structures; transducers, amplifiers, and instruments; magnetic circuits and devices; and nonlinear simulation.
