Neuere Entwicklungen der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und der betriebswirtschaftlichen Or ganisationslehre haben gezeigt, daB Fragen der Gestaltung betrieblicher Systeme nicht allein durch unidisziplinare Forschung in ihrer Komplexitat erfaBt werden konnen. Als Folge dieser Erkenntnis sind vermehrt Bemuhungen urn eine interdisziplinare Ausrich tung der Forschung in diesem Objektbereich zu beobachten. Unter den Ansatzen, die in diese Richtung zielen, verdient das systemtheoretischkybernetische Konzept, das neben der Oberwindung disziplinarer Grenzen insbesondere die Erfassung dynamischer Aspekte betrieblicher Prozesse anstrebt, besondere Beachtung. Aus dieser Sicht treten Fragen der Anpassung und der Stabilitat, also das Zeitverhalten von Wirkungssystemen, in den Vordergrund des wissenschaftlichen Interesses und fOrdern das Verstandnis fur die Dy namik von Wirtschaftsprozessen. Nach un serer Meinung wird das systemtheoretischkybernetische Konzept sowohl fur die Erforschung betrieblicher Systeme als auch speziell fur die betriebswirtschaftliche Orga nisationsforschung neue Wege aufzeigen. Aufgrund des interdisziplinaren Charakters dieses Ansatzes und der Forderung, Systemgesetze zu erfassen, urn sie in mathematischer Form modellmaBig abzubilden, durften sich Moglichkeiten eroffnen, betriebswirtschaft lichorganisatorische Problemstellungen zu behandeln, die bislang nicht in dem wun schenswerten MaBe einer wissenschaftlichen Analyse zuganglich waren. Die konsequente Verfolgung der systemtheoretischkybernetischen Konzeption ist eine brauchbare Basis fur die Bewaltigung von Gestaltungsproblemen, da uber Theoriebildungen Erklarungen der Eigenschaften von Systemen und Prognosen uber ihre Zustande und Verhaltens weisen moglich werden, die Voraussetzungen fUr Gestaltungsprozesse darstellen. Schon aufgrund der bisherigen Forschungsergebnisse ist zu erwarten, daB der systemtheoretisch kybernetische Ansatz im Rahmen der Erforschung und Gestaltung betrieblicher Systeme einen wesentlichen Beitrag leisten wird.
