I bought this book as a gift for my quilting friend, and she absolutely loves it! The stories behind each first lady and their quilt blocks are both inspiring and educational. The illustrations are beautiful and really capture the essence of each lady's contributions. Perfect for anyone who loves history and quilting!

Interesting concept, but a bit basic
This book has some neat stories about the first ladies, but I found the quilt blocks designs to be a little simplistic. If you're a beginner, it might be a great fit, but I was hoping for more intricate patterns. Overall, it's an okay read but not what I expected for my advanced quilting skills.

Disappointing quality and content
I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with a few pages damaged, which was disappointing. The content itself felt rushed and not very engaging. I expected more interesting stories and detailed block instructions for my quilting projects. Not the best purchase I've made.

A lovely addition to my quilting library
I really enjoyed reading about the quilt blocks inspired by each first lady. The historical context is a nice touch, and I appreciate the variety of blocks presented. The book is well-organized, making it easy to follow along. I do wish they had included some fabric suggestions, though.
