Of special note are the 16 vintage duotone photographs documenting Taos and its inhabitants in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The text leads you to the most important places in the village and briefs you on the history of each location. A second section describes the story of the Taos people past and present and how they have managed to preserve their way of life for so many centuries.
