I was excited to read this collection, but some stories felt a bit rushed. While I appreciate the feminist twist, a couple of the folktales didn't resonate with me as much. Still a solid read for those interested in diverse perspectives.

Not What I Expected
I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with some pages crumpled and the binding feels a bit cheap. The stories were interesting, but the condition of the book made it hard to enjoy fully. Disappointed with the quality control here.

This book is just wonderful! It has such a variety of feminist folktales that I enjoyed reading it myself, as well as sharing with my kids. The illustrations add a nice touch, too. Truly a delightful find for anyone interested in folk stories!
