This Taylors Guide sorts out the best heirloom vegetables and tells readers where to find them. These varieties, at least fifty years old, have usually been preserved by regional, ethnic, or family groups, although some, like Golden Bantam corn, are still widely popular today.

Taylor's Guide to Heirloom Vegetables is such a gem! The illustrations are beautiful, and the information is spot-on for weekend gardeners like me. I've already started planning my spring garden with some of the varieties listed here. Totally worth it!

Good Resource, But Lacks Some Details
I picked up Taylor's Guide hoping to dive deeper into heirloom vegetables. It's a decent read and gives a solid overview, but I wish it had more specific growing tips for the different varieties mentioned. Still, it’s a nice addition to my gardening books.

Great for Beginners!
This guide is perfect for someone just starting to explore heirloom veggies. The layout is easy to follow, and I love how it explains the history behind each type. Just wish it had a few more color photos — it would really help visualize what I’m growing!

Arrived Damaged, Disappointed
I was really looking forward to reading Taylor's Guide, but it came with a couple of pages bent and a slight tear on the cover. The content looks good, so I might exchange it, but it was quite disappointing to receive it in that condition.
