The utility company do not have other option than rolling black out. In the dry season Nepalese people have to face 16 hours load shedding due to energy crisis. Therefore, solar photovoltaic (PV) is an alternative backup electricity supply for the consumers and which is already in use by some of consumers. However, due to the high upfront cost of the technology having storage battery system, it is not affordable for all the users. By formulating Government policy of Gridtied solar PV, the country can lunch the gridtied technology to get rid of the current electricity crisis situation.
