Die Projektmethode ist in diesem Kontext didaktisch deshalb besonders geeignet, da sie das selbststndige Arbeiten frdert und dem Erwerb von Handlungskompetenz zutrglich ist. Zudem weist sie bezglich mglicher Inhalte und des Zeitmanagements eine hohe Flexibilitt auf sie lsst sich relativ schnell fr neue Inhalte adaptieren. Zum Bereich des automobilen Innenraumdesigns gehren viele unterschiedliche Aspekte. Ergonomische und sthetische Bedrfnisse gilt es zu befriedigen, konomische und kologische Problemstellungen mssen ebenso erfasst und bercksichtigt wie neue Technologien und Erkenntnisse in den Schaffensprozess integriert werden. Das erste Kapitel enthlt eine Auseinandersetzung mit den didaktischen Grundstzen des Lernfeldkonzeptes und dem fachdidaktischen Credo der Handlungsorientierung. Die Projektmethode wird im theoretischen Rahmen bezglich ihres Aufbaus, ihrer Zielsetzung und auch ihrer Grenzen und Mglichkeiten analysiert. Im darauf folgenden Hauptteil dieser wissenschaftlichen Hausarbeit ist das Thema das Unterrichtsprojekt selbst. Hier werden ausfhrlich sowohl gngige als auch innovative Fertigungsverfahren und Werkstoffe im automobilen Innenraumdesign vorgestellt, welche die fachwissenschaftlichen Grundlagen fr die Projektarbeit darstellen.
