There is an increasing interest among the researchers and strategic leaders of developing countries about the industrial clusters. Technology plays the most vital role in the cluster dynamics. This book is an analytical representation of cluster dynamics from the view point of an engineer. In India there are about 2000 naturally grown industrial clusters. The intrinsic competitiveness of the clusters has been critically analyzed in this book. After globalization the existence of these clusters has been threatened. BusinessUniversityBusiness (BUB), a new model has been developed for technical manpower development. There are several interrelated factors, which govern cluster dynamics. Sometimes it becomes difficult to handle the problem with conventional operation research methodology. Particularly, in the analysis of non homogeneous supply chain, e.g. between organized sector and unorganized industrial clusters. Methodology to quantify the level of technology through thermodynamic concepts has been developed in this book. It is expected that, this method will be a helpful tool for the corporate sector to enter into a business relationship with unorganized industrial clusters.
