Teddy Powers is trying to live a normal 6th grade life after his family moves to Charleston, South Carolina. There's just one problem. His new classmates tell him that weird, unexplainable things have happened through the years to kids who have been in the house his parents just bought. Some got rich. Some got lucky. But some like sixyearold Jack Everett who lived in the house in 1944 disappeared, never to be seen or heard from again. Rumor was, it all had to do with some powerful stones hidden somewhere deep inside the house.
