The book is the result of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) level research and development done at Special Centre for Sanskrit Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Indexing system of Ayurvedic texts will encourage future research in this area. The book is divided into five chapters. First chapter is the introduction of the book. Second chapter focuses on lexicography and indexing tradition in Sanskrit with some digitized lexica and indices. Third chapter discusses Ayurvedic tradition and its spread in the world. Fourth chapter describes the indexing system in terms of its user interface, backend, data structures etc. The chapter also discusses the methodologies used in R&D of the system.
