The concept of this book is fantastic, covering chess and literature. However, I found a few pages that were quite dog-eared. It still provides great insights, but I wish it was in better condition. Still, worth a read if you're into chess history!

Condition not as expected
I was excited to receive this book, but it arrived with a fair amount of damage. It had some water stains, which was disappointing. The content looks great, but the physical quality was a letdown. Just be cautious when buying used.

Loved the chess stories!
This book is filled with great games of chess woven into literature. It's insightful and has sparked some great discussions with my friend group. The used condition was really good, very readable! Highly recommend it to chess lovers.
