I met Squir Squirrel the morning of 9/16/2010 after parking the school bus at my home following the morning bus run. It was a warm day so the windows were open in the house. That's when I heard the incredibly loud squeal of what I thought was a hurt bird. Fleeing from the house with labs in tow, I soon discovered the baby bird I had come to save was actually a baby squirrel that had fallen from its nest.
