In Their Quest For Full Citizenship Rights, Economic Democracy, And Release From An Oppressive Rural Past, Black Southerners Turned To Urban Migration And Employment In The Nation'S Industrial Sector As A New 'Promised Land' Or 'Flight From Egypt'.
