Rob Kroes is the chair of American studies of the University of Amsterdam and editor of European Contributions to American Studies (ECAS). He is author of If You've Seen One You've Seen the Mall and The Persistence of Ethnicity. Tity de Vries is the editor of Dynamics of Modernization. They all live in Middelburg, the Netherlands.
