I picked up this contemporary translation of The Analects hoping it would be easier to digest than some older versions, and it really delivers. The language is accessible while still keeping the essence of Confucius's teachings. I've been using it for my philosophy class and it's been super helpful!

I had high hopes for this translation, but I found some sections lacking depth compared to other translations I've read. It’s not bad, just a bit surface-level for my taste. Still, it’s nice to have for quick reference.
