This book provides a solid understanding of ancient Greek and Roman institutions. The historical context is very detailed. I bought it for a comparative politics class and it has been a valuable resource, even though it showed signs of wear. Worth the read!

Disappointed with the quality
I was really looking forward to this book, but the used condition was not as described. There were quite a few torn pages, which made reading frustrating. The information inside is great, but I wish it had been better taken care of.
