While I enjoyed 'The Apartment House on Poppy Hill,' I felt like the characters could have been developed a bit more. The plot was nice, but sometimes it felt a little rushed. Still, it was a pleasant enough read for an afternoon.

Disappointed with the Ending
I was really excited to read 'The Apartment House on Poppy Hill' after hearing good things. However, the ending left me wanting more. It felt too abrupt and didn't tie things together as nicely as I hoped. Not sure I'd recommend it to friends.
