As a history buff, I found 'The B-17 Flying Fortress Story' to be an exceptional read. The detailed accounts of missions and the bravery of the crews really brought the aircraft to life. The illustrations are fantastic, adding so much depth to the narrative.

Disappointed with the Quality
Unfortunately, the copy of 'The B-17 Flying Fortress Story' I received arrived with a damaged cover. The content seems interesting, but the packaging was lacking, and the book itself feels a bit flimsy. I expected better for the price.

Good but Lacked Depth
I bought this book hoping for more technical details about the B-17, but it focuses more on stories which was nice but not what I expected. It’s well-written, though, and I appreciated the photos throughout for context.
