I had high hopes for 'The Gambit Accepted', but the ending left me feeling unsatisfied. It started strong, but just didn't deliver for me. Maybe my expectations were too high?

Interesting but a bit slow at times
I enjoyed parts of Volume 1 but felt some sections dragged on. The concept is great, and the writing is solid, but pacing could be improved. Worth reading for fans of the genre!
