The book tries to explore and identify the techniques and skills Tom Stoppard employs in bringing about the blend of the comic and the serious at different levels in his select plays which is his significant contribution to the modern drama. Through a thorough analysis of his plays, the book conveys the typical postmodernistic concerns of contemporary life.
