The Book of Exodus details the Jews' enslavement in Egypt, their harrowing journey with Moses out of Egypt, and the formation of the new laws established for them by their God. With fortyfive original watercolor paintings of skies illustrating the handlettered text, Sam Fink reaches his family across an ocean and readers around the world with an endless expanse of breathtaking sky scapes. Each page is meticulously handlettered, in Hebrew and the Jewish Publications Society's 1917 English translation, and thoughtfully painted by an artist whose commitment to bringing history's most meaningful documents to life is exquisitely realized here in The Book of Exodus.
