I got this book thinking it would be great for my 7-year-old, but the language was a bit complex for him. He liked the pictures but lost interest in the story. Maybe better suited for older kids?

Not what I expected at all
Disappointed with this purchase. The book arrived with a small tear on the cover, and while the story is interesting, it didn't hold my child's attention. Would have appreciated better packaging and a more engaging narrative.

Great educational resource for kids
This book does a nice job of blending science and storytelling. My daughter, who's in 5th grade, enjoyed learning about John James Audubon. A solid pick for school projects, but some parts felt a bit rushed. Still worth a read!
