This book really challenges the idea of direct presidential elections. The arguments made in favor of the Electoral College are well-researched and thought-provoking. I bought it for a political science class, and my classmates found it engaging too.

Disappointing and biased
Honestly, I was expecting a fair examination of the Electoral College, but this book felt one-sided and unconvincing. It arrived a bit late too, which didn’t help. I wouldn’t recommend it if you're looking for balanced views.

Mixed feelings about the arguments
While I appreciated some points made in this book, I felt like it dragged on in parts. The defense of the Electoral College is strong, but I wish it could've addressed more counterarguments. Still, it’s a decent read if you're into political theory.
