Explains how to develop ones own glazes and colors, traces the history of ceramic glazes, and includes sample glaze recipes
⚠️ WARNING (California Proposition 65):
This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer,
birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
This book has some valuable insights into glaze development. I appreciate the straightforward approach, but I wish it had a few more examples of finished pieces to illustrate the concepts better. Still, a decent addition to my ceramics library.

Good but needs more examples

Not what I expected
I thought this book would have more detailed recipes for different glazes, but it mostly focuses on theory. It's informative, but I was hoping for more practical applications. It’s okay, just not what I needed right now.

Great resource for beginners!
As someone new to ceramics, I found 'A Simplified Approach to Glaze Color Development' by The Ceramic Spectrum super helpful. The explanations are clear and the color samples make it easier to choose glazes. Definitely a solid guide for anyone starting out!
