I found 'The Child from the Sea' to have a lovely premise, but some parts felt a bit drawn out. My son enjoyed the illustrations more than the text itself. It's a good read but just not as engaging as I hoped.

Gorgeous Illustrations!
The art in 'The Child from the Sea' is breathtaking! However, I was hoping for a bit more depth in the story. My daughter liked it, but I think she’ll appreciate it more as she gets older. Still a beautiful book!
