Not My Favorite Thriller
While I loved the premise of The Children of Eve, I found some parts confusing. Charlie Parker’s character felt a bit cliché at times. I expected more depth, to be honest. It was okay, but I wouldn't rush to recommend it.

Interesting but Slower in the Middle
I enjoyed the first and last parts of The Children of Eve, but I felt like the middle dragged a bit. Charlie Parker’s investigations were intriguing, just wish it had more consistent pacing throughout. Still worth a read if you like thrillers!
