Product Description The Christmas Curmudgeon is a family story full of warmth and great humor. Follow the brothers Jenkins from Thanksgiving Day (the more you eat, the more you can eat) to Christmas Day as they plaster the mall with antiChristmas posters, start an antiChristmas card campaign and address the world with their iconoclastic ideas about Christmas. After meeting two Vietnam veterans deep in the North Carolina mountains and presenting a soap box rant at the local park, Henry Jenkins suffers a heart attack. The two brothers are moved to confront themselves and change their attitudes toward life and toward Christmas. About the Author Having escaped the consumerist imperative, James Cox authored this book to help others do the same. Last seen running from a mall into the deep woods of Western North Carolina, it is suspected that he hides out in a mountain cabin enjoying complete bliss with his wife, three dogs, a cat and a huge garden full of flowers. James publishes essays in Wander Magazine about the American consumerist culture and is hard at work on his second novel. He no longer celebrates Christmas, but does celebrate life every day.
