Unfortunately, this copy of 'The City of Gold and Lead' arrived with a damaged cover and some pages were crinkled. I know it's a classic, but the physical condition really took away from my enjoyment of the book. I was expecting better.

Interesting Story, But Not My Favorite
I enjoyed 'The City of Gold and Lead,' but I found it a bit slow at times. The plot had some intriguing ideas, but I expected a bit more action given the premise. Still a good read if you're into classic sci-fi.

Engaging Read for Sci-Fi Fans
I picked up 'The City of Gold and Lead' as a gift for my son, who loves science fiction. He finished it in just a few days and couldn't stop talking about the characters and their adventures. Great pacing and imaginative world-building!
