About the Author Graham C. Kinloch was born in Zimbabwe. He completed his undergraduate education in New Zealand and graduate degrees in the United States. A faculty member at Florida State University since 1971, he has focused on topics such as sociological theory, minority group relations, and the sociology of knowledge. He is currently Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the College of Social Sciences.
