I picked up 'The Competent Manager' for my team at the office, and it's been quite the eye-opener. The theories and models provided really helped us understand effective performance better. It's in used condition, but honestly, it felt like a fresh read to me!

Good Content, But Wear and Tear
The book has some great insights about management, but I was a bit let down by its used condition. There were some dog-eared pages and a few notes in the margins. Still, the content is solid and worth the read for anyone looking to improve their management skills.

Not What I Expected
I received 'The Competent Manager' and it was in worse shape than I anticipated. The cover was pretty worn down, and some chapters had highlighting. The ideas in it might be helpful, but I wish I'd gotten a better copy. Disappointed with the condition.
