This chess manual has become my go-to whenever I hit a snag in my games. The Russian Chess School's approach to openings and middlegames is insightful. The depth of knowledge is impressive, and it really helps in understanding positional chess. Very satisfying read!

I bought this book hoping it would help me with my game, but I found some sections a little overwhelming. The concepts are solid, especially for positional play, but I wish there were more simplified explanations. Still, it’s a decent guide for those looking to dive deeper.

I had high hopes for this book, but it didn’t quite deliver. While it does cover a lot of ground on positional chess, I found some of the explanations lacking. It’s good for reference, but I expected a bit more engagement. It’s okay, but not my favorite.

The Complete Manual of Positional Chess is filled with useful strategies and theories. However, the material can feel quite dense at times, requiring careful reading. I appreciate the depth, but it takes a bit of patience to digest it all. Not for the faint of heart!
