This book really made me reflect on my own experiences with faith and community. The way it discusses the potential for harm in certain Christian practices is eye-opening. I found it hard to put down and I kept sharing quotes with my friends. Definitely worth a read!

Not What I Expected
I was really looking forward to this book but honestly, it just didn't resonate with me. The focus on 'characteristic damage and sin' felt a bit heavy and negative. I hoped for more uplifting content. Might work for some, but not for me.

Great Perspective but Too Academic
I appreciate the author's take on the subject, especially the parts about personal gifts and how they can be affected. However, the writing was a bit dense at times, making it hard to stay engaged. Still, it's a solid read for anyone interested in the intersection of faith and personal growth.
