This book had a lot of great moments, but I found some sections dragged on a bit. William's story is interesting, but it took a while to really get into the action. Still, I enjoyed seeing the connections to the other books in the series. Definitely worth a read if you're a fan of dark fantasy!

I had high hopes for 'William's Story' after loving the previous installments of the 'Lords of the Underworld'. Unfortunately, it felt rushed and didn't hold my attention like the others did. The plot twists were predictable, and I can't say I was a fan of the pacing. Wouldn't recommend it for new readers of the series.
