I bought this hoping for a classic retelling, but it didn’t resonate with me. The humor felt forced at times and I wasn’t a fan of Twain's interpretation. I guess I just had a different vision of the story! Will pass it on to a friend who might enjoy it more.

Interesting but Lacks Depth
I enjoyed the witty writing style of Mark Twain, but I felt like the translation could have provided more context about the original themes. It’s a light read, but I was hoping for something a bit deeper. Perfect for a quick afternoon read, though!

A Unique Take on a Classic
I've always loved the story of Adam and Eve, but Twain's translation adds such a fresh perspective! The humor really shines through in this version. It's a fun read that keeps me entertained while also making me think. Definitely glad I picked this up!
