Writing His Comedy (The Epithet Divine Was Added By Later Admirers) In Exile From His Native Florence, Dante Aimed To Address A World Gone Astray Both Morally And Politically. It Tells The Story Of A Character Who Is At One And The Same Time Both Dante Himself And Everyman.

I love the way this edition looks on my shelf, it’s definitely eye-catching! However, the translation could be a bit clearer in some sections. It’s good, but I expected a bit more given the reputation of Wordsworth classics.

Great for Deep Reading
If you’re diving into Dante, this edition is a must. The layout helps in following along with the poetic structure, and the footnotes are quite helpful for context. I feel like I’m getting a lot out of my reading!

Good for Literature Lovers
This edition of The Divine Comedy is quite nice. The paper quality is decent, and the binding feels sturdy. I did wish there were more illustrations or notes, but it’s a solid choice for anyone studying this classic.

Decent Edition, Mixed Feelings
I liked the compact size of this Wordsworth edition of The Divine Comedy, making it easy to carry around. However, the print size is a bit small for my taste, which made it harder to read for long periods. It’s okay but could be better.

A Timeless Classic to Own
I picked up The Divine Comedy from Wordsworth Classics, and it's a stunning edition. The cover design is simple yet elegant, perfect for my bookshelf. Plus, the text is very readable, which makes diving into Dante’s work so much easier!
